A UNIQUE COLLECTION OF AFRICAN ART CRAFT AND ARTEFACTS
WHO WE ARE
We work with local South African beaders, wire workers, ceramic artists and other artists using a variety of recycled materials. We also support traders mainly from West Africa who supply us with artefacts and masks unique to their individual countries. Each item sold in our stores is hand selected and mostly hand made craft. The impact on the lives of the people we support is real. The people are real, and every item has a story of who its made by and where it comes from. We reduce, reuse, and recycle with pride.
At African Attitude we support local communities, self help groups, individual artists and fair trade organisations. Many of the ladies and men who we support rely on the income they generate from working with us, and our partnerships assist in meeting their household needs. The artists we work with use a variety of materials to make their products.
